Hi everyone,

What a great find this forum! I am a son of Portuguese parents, but grew up (and still live) in Holland. My active Portuguese is not so good, but luckily I can understand it a lot better.

My love for classic shaving started with the dislike of my Gillette fusion power. I never had a really smooth shave, but irritation always occurred. Then I remembered how my father used his old Gillette butterfly DE-razor and gave it a try myself. Wow!

I have a small collection of Semogues and hope to add the special Barbear Classico texugo to my collection soon. My next show piece is a Feather AS-D2S, which is ordered from Japan directly including a special edition gift box. I hope to receive it in October. Will post some pictures then.

Perhaps I will discover some new great soaps, razors or other gems here. Still trying to make the perfect lather... Your input is always welcome!
