Nova Mühle em Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC)

A darkened photo of a new Muehle razor has been posted on Muehle's Facebook page along with the comment "coming soon."  An interesting development to say the least, and we can now begin to speculate as to when it will be introduced and more importantly, the specifics of the razor itself.  Will it be a slant, TTO, stainless, other?

Interesting! I'm guessing the 02/12 refers to the release date, so next Monday... hardly a long wait! 

It doesn't seem all that different, does it?

The bottom of the head appears to be curved unlike the head on either the R89 or R41, while the handle appears to be the same as on current models.

I think that's just because of the perspective of the photo that accentuates it, as current EJ/Mühle "heads" already have a pronounced curvature, like this or this!

It doesn't seem that different from the R89, and it also doesn't look like a TTO or Slant... I'd bet on a stainless steel model, which pretty much everyone seems to be doing nowadays.

In shape, and judging only by the photo, I would bet so! That's why I favour the hypothesis of being the same razor made out of different materials (or even the same materials in a different coloration or finish, i.e. gold plated, all black) in opposition  to being a new design. Though I could be wrong, the photo could be misleading and representative of a new kind of head only slightly different from the previous (I think they did that regarding the different kinds of base plates on the OC version, and even in the "shark tooth" version)!

Não que eu seja fã das slants, mas até o italo-canadense vai lançar a sua e a Mühle não tem uma em seu catálogo...
Se for outra máquina com cabeçal da R89 ficarei um pouco decepcionado...

Interessante, também partilho da opinião que será apenas uma questão de revestimento/cor. Talvez um acabamento mate/satin ou cor preto ou talvez cobre.

Ainda aqui a mexer na foto a ver se conseguia "pescar" algo mais lol:



Parece-me mesmo ter um revestimento diferente talvez.
