Du212, thanks for youre so gentle words. This stone was from my grandgrandfather. He was a folding knive maker. And used straigth razors for shure. I dont know what tip of stone is. The apearence and grain is much like my kita nagura slurry, just a little bit harder. Best Regards.

Aprendi horrores! As navalhas estão tinindo! Inclusive tive um pequeno talho no pescoço com a Filarmônica hoje. Mas já está fechado! Santo Lápis Hemostático!

I have one Filarmonica of my use. I received as a gift from my hone teacher.
Personaly, I prefer an old henckels . It apears to cut a lot more than a more modern one, also looks that the hollow is diferent, making a thiner blade.
