Title: MAGUIRE'S Barbershop
Post by: Maguires Barbershop on July 25, 2013, 02:15:52 pm
Hello from the UK,

I am pleased to confirm that we are now online with our brand new website at www.maguiresbarbershop.co.uk. We launched the site earlier this month and orders have been steadily flowing. A great result thanks to excellent support from old and new customers alike.

Registering on the site for the first time will get you a discount code you can use on any single order you like (not just your first one).

We’ve got 59 brands listed now, and 552 products, all competitively priced and ready for shipping.

A popular feature on the site is the brands page, a page that allows you to search by brand rather than (just) by category. Feel free to click on the link and see what I mean http://www.maguiresbarbershop.co.uk/brands/.html  How we present the products to you, our customers, is important to us so we have excellent quality images taken at a range of angles.  All products are listed with handy tips and tricks, and all consumables have their full ingredient list listed.

With the exception of aerosol products (deodorants and shaving foam canisters) our entire product range is available for worldwide shipping, using a signed-for Royal Mail service.

You can also stay in touch with our marketing by registering for our regular newsletter. Scroll down the website page and you’ll see the newsletter subscription form in the footer.

We look forward to dealing with you going forward and finding our place within the traditional male grooming market with your support.

Richard

Hello Richard! Welcome! It is a pleasure to have you amongst us!

We have a forum section, (http://www.barbearclassico.com/index.php?board=23.0) where forum vendors can create new threads to present their products, promotions, discount codes, etc. Do you want us to create a new zone for your shop?

A very warm welcome to MAGUIRE'S Barbershop!

We have some members with severe acquisition disorders :), so there is great sales potential here :)

Most of us are also completely addicted to discounts, so I hope you guys can provide us with some kind of discount codes in the future, to further increase your sales :)

Hi Classic-Shaver, thanks for the welcome! We recognise the value of forums and forum members, so forum specific discount codes will certainly be something we look into in the future.

Thanks again everyone. Just a heads up, we have recently been hit with the new regulations regarding shipping Aftershaves and Colognes. In short we can't send these items outside of the UK anymore, and are heavily restricted within the UK (we literally can't send a 400ml bottle of aftershave to ANYONE by Royal Mail). We're looking at land carriers to help us re-open this service to our UK and EU customers (it is a Civil Aviation Authority issue, who have sort of forced this upon the Royal Mail). I'll keep you updated on this - I image you've all come across this in the past year or so, yes?

Richard.

Yeah, I believe this problem occurs with most (if not all) of the UK online shops... But I believe someone more experienced than I am will come along and will be able to confirm this. ;)

Regards.

Yes, it's true. I've been trying to get a Dirty English cologne to match my ASB for some time now (it's like 1/2 the price on the web) and all the seller states that it's impossible to ship that outside the UK. Now a silly and ignorant question, but isn't possible to use the TGV from the UK to France to ship any kind of mail?
