Hi, my name is Vladimir. I have been wet shaving for almost two years now, but I have tried it before in my youth (in the 80's) with cartridges. Now I use DE razors and soaps (no cremes). I love boar brushes as much as badger. I currently own a Semogue 1800 that really enjoy, but other Semogue boars I owned (1305 and 1470) had to be sold because I just could not get along with them. My other boars are: B&B Essentials by Omega and some restores utilizing Omega boar knots. I really like Omega unpainted boar knots, especially in 50mm loft. My badgers are also mostly custom made by me and use TGN two band finest knots. I also own two Simpsons: Wee Scot and Case.
I have also tried straight razor shaving and still have two straights, but just not using them so much. DE is my favorite way to shave right now. I prefer medium aggressive open comb razors. My daily drivers are RazoRock/Cadet OC head on the Ikon handle and a Frankenrazor I made using Hallmark top plate, Fatip base plate and Ikon handle.
I joined this forum to buy the LE Semogue brush offered here. I chose Mistura because I am very curious about the mixed hair knots. I have also ordered the SOC 2012 SE and am waiting on that to arrive. I love Semogue handles, especially SOC handles. I am really looking forward to trying the two mixed hair Semogues. The BC brush looks absolutely stunning.
I wish I spoke some Portuguese so I could participate in this forum more.
I will try to participate in English and/or Google translate. I hope members here do not get irritated with it.
Thanks for offering the BC brushes and thanks for accepting me as a member here.

Thank you, gentlemen, for the warm welcome. I am happy to be a part of a forum that is outside my country. It is always good to have a different perspective. I am glad to hear that most understand English. Unfortunately, I have no Portuguese at all, but I will try to make it work. I'll post in SOTD (is this what you call "Shave Of The Day" here?).
Thanks again and I am really looking forward to trying the BC Mistura LE brush. Wil try to read a bit about it here.
