Confrades, em que local temos mais confrades ? Seria no Rio ? São Paulo ? Pensava que poderiam marcar reuniões que podem começar sendo uma vez por mês, a fim de levar materiais que querem vender ou permutar, que seja tomar um café ou uma cerveja ! Se tiver alguns entusiastas já dá certo....ah...e quem não quer fazer negócio..pode ao menos encontrar o confrade. Não sei no Brasil ou Portugal já tiveram essa experiência ??

É verdade! Da minha parte tá faltando verba; cair do recreio praí é coisa de se fazer de manhãzinha para dar entrada num hotel até as 12h de modo a fazer valer à pena...
... mas esse fim de semana mesmo eu e Danilo (que muito gentilmente foi me entregar a Fila 14 em casa) estávamos lembrando disso. Já não demora muito, guarda o Whisky pra gente :D

Hello! I am new to this forum, though I am not new to wet shaving. I do not speak Portuguese. Right now I am in Sao Paulo and I would like to buy some Brazilian wet shaving stuff, like Palmidaya or Fix Modell shaving creams. Can someone suggest me stationary shop here?

I would suggest you to buy it online. I used to live in SP and never found Palmidaya or FixModell (only online) . Now i am based in Rio and those can be found here. Until when are you staying in SP?

I have found Fix-Modell at Centro de Artigos p/ Cabeleireiros Teruya, Av. Rio Branco 127 (Republica), São Paulo.
I have bought Traditional, Lavanda and Pinho – all in 250 g jars. There was also Eucalipto, but I own this scent and I do not like it. Price? Unbelievable! I have paid only 8.15 R$. Great price for very good stuff.

You have found a very nice price for it. I usually find it for 10-11 BRL.

@Samir. Fix-Modell is really good product. Though I live in Poland, I have tested quite a lot of Brazilian shaving creams and soaps and most of them are mediocre for me. Huge disappointment was Body Store Sabonete para Barbear (http://geekhub.pl/?p=2106) but Fix-Modell Creme de Barbear Eucalipto (http://geekhub.pl/?p=944) is cheap and very good. The only problem was scent. That is why I have decided to test all of the Fix-Modell offer. By the way, what a strange name! :-) Now, I will try to test Palmidaya. Unfortunately I have not found it in São Paulo.

Hello...Yes, in Brazil dont have more products, usually cream I like, in specific Fix-Model and Palmydaia. Do you like or look the Bozzano Creams? For me its one classic, but I dont use everyday, I have problems if use its cream everyday!!!

R$8,15 (~€2) for a 250g jar of good shaving cream? That's a great deal! :)

@Samir: Yes, I have used two different types of Bozzanos, o'Boticario (non foamy) and two BiCs. BiCs are for me better than Bozzanos. Fix-Modell is the best in price/performance ratio. By the way, Body Store Shaving Soap was one of the worst (4 pts.).
