I am a wetshaving enthusiast from Cyprus and some of you may recognise my nickname from the other wetshaving forums. I will be visiting Portugal in early April and I would be grateful to anyone that can give me advice on wetshaving stores in the Lisboa area. My specific interest is in straight razors and honing material but I will also consider other shaving gear. I am also interested in visiting old barbershops and naval museums.

If you want a wet shaving experience in Lisbon you can book a shaving with a professional barber in the Claus PORTO Lisbon store (look up in the net). The store is located in a historical place of the city it’s beautiful, and it sells the shaving brand Musgo Real (Portuguese famous) you will not have to pay for the shave since they will present to you theres products (you don’t have to buy either, but if you do there’s some good stuff, like the shaving creams and the soaps and more)

Até porque é uma loja de turistas e o barbear requer marcação e disponibilidade.
Assim oferece um creme que deve ter um custo de 2€ cada e o cliente fica contente.

Para a Claus Porto fica mais barato ofecer o creme do que o barbear de toalha quente.De acordo. Eles têm uma política totalmente comercial e até agressiva com as bolsas portuguesas. Com muito menos dinheiro que 50€, compra-se um creme, um sabão um pincel e de qualidade. Quanto ao escanhoado, já aqui o disse que foi uma boa experiência mas com alguma desilusão pq o resultado final foi muito sofrível.

50€ deu direito a um creme gratuito. Mas não o original, tive de escolher outro aroma, escolhi o Oak.Mas para o Elias poderia ser interessante no sentido da beleza da loja do ritual de escanhoamento, do conhecimento do Bairro Alto.....

I was traveling for work and my time in Lisboa was limited, but I managed to visit the Polycarpo shop and buy a Semogue 750 badger brush. I liked the shop and the owner seemed to be knowledgeable about our hobby.
Lisboa is a beautiful place with friendly people and I would like to revisit Portugal with my family for vacations.
