They are very close.
When I hand-lathered the 2020, I feared it was lacking backbone, because the hairs was "bending" more than I had expected, but in use there was no problems whatsoever loading or whipping up lather, and it didn't feel floppy in any way.
Compared to the 2013 it has 2 mm higher loft, but it is well compensated by a 1,5 mm larger knot, and the tip feel is just lovely soft - it fly immediately in among my favourite brushes, I love it

Thank you, Soren! I own the 2013 SE and I love it, too. This one would be a great Christmas gift for myself, but it costs almost double what I payed for the 2013 SE...

I thought that the 2020 had a 24 mm knot, like the 2013, but you say that the knot is 1.5 mm larger. Did you measure it?

Yes, I always measure, weigh and photograph my brushes at arrival 

The measurements for my brushes:

2013 SE:
Weight 57,7 gram
Knot size: 23,2 mm
Loft: 48,3 mm

2020 LE:
Weight 77,9 gram
Knot size: 24,5 mm
Loft: 50,1 mm

The knot size is measured just above the ring.
